Dave E. Albert, MD - Founder

Dave E. Albert, MD Founder

David E. Albert, MD, an Oklahoma native, is a physician, inventor and serial entrepreneur who has developed medical and other life-saving technologies and products over the last 30 years, turning a number of those innovations into tech startups. Today, he is a founder of three technology companies, InnovAlarm, Lifetone Technology and AliveCor. His previous startups include Corazonix Corp (sold to Arrhythmia Research Technology) and Data Critical (sold to GE). Dr. Albert left GE in 2004 as Chief Scientist of GE Cardiology to disrupt several new markets.

His latest invention, AliveCor Mobile ECG, became a global sensation via a four-minute YouTube Video in January 2011 around the Consumer Electronics Show and was featured on ABC, CBS, CNN and Fox News among many other media outlets. Dr. Albert has 32 issued US patents, a large number pending and several new “secret inventions” in development. He has authored or co-authored over 50 scientific abstracts and publications principally in the Cardiology literature. Dr. Albert has lectured at the Entrepreneurship programs at the MIT Sloan School and the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Albert graduated with Honors from Harvard College and from Duke University Medical School.

Ira Bahr - Chief Executive Officer (Interim)

Ira Bahr Chief Executive Officer

Ira brings brings extensive sales, marketing and business development experience with high profile consumer, technology and media brands, most notably as CMO of Dish Network, where he was responsible for customer acquisition, customer loyalty, and corporate communications. During his tenure, Bahr oversaw the product planning and marketing for “Hopper,” Dish’s whole-home DVR as well as for Dish’s first mobile applications on IOS and Android. Previously, Bahr led marketing for Sirius Satellite Radio. As the company’s 12th employee, he oversaw business development, marketing, programming, and, most notably, was responsible for the creation and development of the Sirius name and corporate identity. Ira began his career at BBDO where he held positions of increasing responsibility working with high-profile clients including FedEx, Pepsi-Cola and General Electric.

Bahr holds a B.A. degree from Columbia University in New York City.

Jacqueline Shreibati, MD, MS, FACC - Chief Medical Officer

Jacqueline Shreibati, MD, MS, FACC Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Jacqueline Shreibati, MD, MS, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist. She completed her medical school, Internal Medicine residency, and Cardiology fellowship at Stanford University. Dr. Shreibati has a Master’s degree in health services research, a field that studies how financial systems, organizational structures, health technologies and personal behaviors affect health care access, quality and cost. Dr. Shreibati formerly served as the company’s Vice President of Medical Affairs.

Simon Prakash - Chief Technology Officer

Simon Prakash Chief Technology Officer

Simon brings more than 20 years of experience in product hardware design and development.

Simon most recently served as the Senior Director of Product Hardware Development at Google where he led the design and development of the current and future versions of Google Glass as well as defining other future products. During his tenure at Google he was responsible for product development, technology pathfinding, and started the reliability, battery, safety and quality teams within Google.

Prior to Google, Simon was a Senior Director of Product Integrity in the Hardware design group at Apple for almost nine years and was directly involved in developing the first iPhone, iPad, and many industry-leading laptops and desktops. Simon has also worked in the optics industry developing the first 1300 nm VCSEL for telecom use.

Prakash earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University, and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado. He has served and presented on a number of IEEE and ASME conferences including component packaging, thermal design and reliability.
